Bursaspor’s second president, Emin Adanur, said in a written statement that he resigned from his post. Adanur stated that since the second week they took office, with the guidance of some people, the voices of resignation increased and the size of the criticism gradually increased. Stating that he and his family were worn out, Adanur also mentioned his 6-month actions in his statement. Explaining that they have made great financial and moral gains for the green-white club in a short time, Adanur said:
“In the last 6 months, our Bursaspor Football Schools were transferred to our club again and started to earn a serious monthly income. Our stadium name right was sold for the first time in its history. Again, the rental transactions of the shops under the stadium were made. Transfer boards were opened. Until the 6th month of our 3-year mandate, we have felt all the pressures that have never happened before. We all know the damage that those who set these pressures have inflicted on the Bursaspor community for many years. Bursaspor is a very big community. Until they come to us It has achieved many successes and will certainly continue after us. But Bursaspor, which millions of people love, hundreds of thousands of people follow, tens of thousands of people chase after and thousands of people’s lives, came to this situation because of the egos of a few people. On this road leading up to the presidency, I saw this; Bursaspor Nobody cares except a handful of people in the city, and many of them even act entirely in their own interests. On the contrary, do not believe it at all. I invite the dynamics of our city, who did not come to a single match, let alone provide financial support during our tenure, and did not support because I am here, and those who did their best for me to resign, to take care of Bursaspor.”
