According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, this assessment coincides with internal observations at FC Bayern. Hoeneß should continue to be convinced of Rangnick’s work – despite his previous rejection of the coaching position last summer. A possible role for Rangnick is compared internally with Jürgen Klopp’s model as “Global Head of Soccer” at Red Bull.
Such a concept would have several advantages for Bayern: Rangnick could not only strengthen the club with its experience in the field of scouting and offspring, but also act as a possible transition solution to key positions such as trainers, sports director or sports director.
