Sports director Alexander Rosen extends his contract at TSG Hoffenheim

“Impressive development”

Sports director Alexander Rosen and TSG Hoffenheim extended their cooperation early on and extended the 43-year-old’s working paper, which originally ran until 2023, by two more years. Rosen has been in charge of the sporting management of the Kraichgau since April 2013, since then the Hoffenheim squad value has increased by more than 150 percent. And Rosen can also show a significant plus in the transfer balance.

During his tenure, the club managed, among other things, to participate in the Champions League and qualify twice for the Europa League. “The fact that the club has made this impressive development is closely linked to its name,” said managing director Frank Briel. “This period of time alone shows how successful Alex is at work and how his work is valued at the club.” In terms of transfer balance, no other club in the German upper house has had a better income/expenditure balance since 2013/14.

The 43-year-old Rosen sees the contract extension as a great sign of trust and that he continues to do his job with great joy, passion and identification. “I’m passionate about TSG and see it as a privilege to be able to continue to help shape the future of the club,” said Rosen.
