Sporting Lisbon have extended coach Rúben Amorim’s contract by two years ahead of schedule. The 37-year-old signed a new working paper until June 30, 2026. Sporting had poached Amorim from league rivals SC Braga in March 2020 and made it one of the most expensive coaches in the world with a fee of 10 million euros.
