Utah Jazz end Warriors winning streak
08.43 am: Utah Jazz has ended the Golden State Warriors’ winning streak in the American basketball league. The team from Salt Lake City triumphed in front of its home crowd by a large margin: 111-85. For the club from California it was the first loss in a run of ten games.
Bojan Bogdanovic was the Jazz’s top scorer with 23 points. Five teammates also finished in double figures. With 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, Donovan Mitchell also had a significant share in Utah Jazz’s fourth win in a row.
Golden State Warriors failed in Salt Lake City especially in the finish. The scoring percentage from all goal attempts was only 35.9 percent. Jordan Poole (18 points) and Stephen Curry (16 points) were still on target. Star player Klay Thompson was missing from the Warriors, who took a rest as a precaution.
In the Western Conference standings, the Golden State Warriors are in second place behind Phoenix Suns. Utah Jazz is in fourth place.
