11.14 am: Trainer Carlo Ancelotti can still coach Real Madrid on Wednesday in the away game against Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Italian has tested negative for the corona virus and will therefore travel to London on Wednesday morning, a day after the player group. The match starts at 9 p.m.

Motorcycle racer Márquez makes a comeback in Austin
10.44 am: Motorcycle racer Marc Márquez will make his return to MotoGP next weekend in the United States Grand Prix. The 29-year-old Spaniard missed the Argentina Grand Prix last weekend because his vision is still not quite right. Márquez had to skip the Indonesian GP more than a week ago because he suffered a concussion during a fall during the warm-up.
Márquez won six world titles between 2013 and 2019. He missed the entire 2020 season after a fracture to his right arm and subsequent complications. Last year, Márquez gradually returned to the top level, but after a fall at the end of the season, his vision problems started. An ophthalmologist concluded that he suffers from diplopia (double vision).
Márquez won seven of the eight World Cup races in Austin, including last season. The Spaniard is currently fifteenth in the World Cup standings, on 34 points from his compatriot Aleix Espargaro, who is in the lead for the time being.
Norway gives curlers fifth defeat at World Cup
8.22 am: The Dutch curling men have not been able to give a good follow-up to their first victory at the World Cup in Las Vegas. After the 11-9 victory over Italy, skip Wouter Gösgens’ team had to acknowledge its superiority in Norway. It became 8-3.
For the Orange, it marked the fifth loss in six games, putting the Netherlands in last place. A meeting with the United States will follow on Wednesday.
Thirteen countries participate in the World Cup. The two highest ranked teams from the group stage go straight to the semi-finals. The numbers 3 to 6 will play in a qualifying match for the other two semi-final places.
The curlers are participating in the World Cup for the fifth time. In the previous four editions, with Jaap van Dorp as skip, the Dutch men finished eleventh (in 2017), tenth (in 2018 and 2019) and twelfth (in 2021).
