Spanish tennis players come to Den Bosch with Bolsova
13:43: The Spanish tennis players will come to Den Bosch next week with Aliona Bolsova in the team for the duel with the Netherlands in the qualifying round of the Billie Jean King Cup. The born Moldovan replaces the injured Garbiñe Muguruza in the selection. Two-time grand slam champion Muguruza withdrew from the Nations Cup last month due to a shoulder injury.

Arantxa Rus, Lesley Pattinama-Kerkhove, debutante Arianne Hartono and doubles specialist Demi Schuurs make up the Dutch team.
Moscon takes a rest: condition below zero
12.06 o’clock: Gianni Moscon will be out of action this spring. The 27-year-old Italian is hopelessly out of shape. “My condition is below zero,” the Astana rider reported on Instagram. “I gave everything, as always, but it wasn’t much this year.”
Moscon did not make it to the finish on Sunday in the Tour of Flanders. He also got off early in the Strade Bianche, E3 Harelbeke, Gent-Wevelgem and Dwars door Vlaanderen. Last year he made an impression in Paris-Roubaix; he was alone in the lead for a long time and eventually finished fourth.
Moscon, who exchanged Ineos Grenadiers for Astana last winter, blames his poor condition on an infection with the corona virus in January. “After three weeks of illness from Covid in January, I have not been able to feel positive anymore. I will take a period of rest to improve my fitness.”

Kardolus was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau in 1995 and honored in 2007 with a gold medal of honor for his services to fencing sport from the world fencing association FIE. He always stood up for his sport and his association. This occasionally caused conflicts with, among others, the screen association. “Especially in a small sport you have to bite the bullet. I will not let myself be messed with and I am afraid of nothing and no one,” he said in his last interview in NLcoach magazine, which appeared last month.
