sport.de is looking for interns for the news department

Are you looking for an entry into sports journalism or would you like to deepen existing experience? Are you not only interested in football, but also follow Formula 1, winter sports and US sports as well as other sports intensively?

Then you’ve come to the right place! We are now looking for full-time interns (m/f/d) for at least two months for the news department of sport.de in Munster.

We give you the chance to get to know all facets of online reporting at one of the most successful sports portals in Germany. In cooperation with our editors, you can expect varied, exciting activities.

With your ideas and your creativity, you can get involved in the editorial work. With us you are right in the middle of it, instead of just being there!

Your tasks at sport.de include…

• Writing news and background texts, editing agency news

• Image selection and processing, creating series of images

• SEO

• a monthly allowance of 400 to 450 euros

We expect from you…

• Interest and passion for sports

• Excellent knowledge of German spelling and grammar

• high affinity to social networks, especially Twitter and Instagram

• Reliability, strong communication skills and precise work, even under time pressure

• gladly, but not necessarily, initial experience in (sports) journalism

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends

We have the world’s largest live ticker editorial team and the largest sports database. We have been operating the sport.de portal in cooperation with RTL Germany since 2015.
