A long and successful career comes to an end. Speed skater Nico Ihle is finally giving up his skates. The 37-year-old will have one last competition on Saturday, and then it’s over. But Ihle could remain connected to his sport and should probably stay with the association. Ihle actually wanted to use the World Championships in Heerenveen at the beginning of March as a conclusion, but at the DM at the end of January Ihle couldn’t get past places three and four.
