Willeke Alberti will give a special performance, together with Diggy Dex, before the practice match of the Dutch national team against Germany. They sing an adapted version of the song ‘Being Together’, especially for a group of people for whom social contact is not obvious.
“It’s so much fun! We’re going to sing it for five hundred people from FC Mooiste Contact,” Willeke Alberti says on NH Radio. “That is a new foundation of the KNVB. They help people who have been very lonely. I think it is such a great initiative to get people back together.”
Alberti hopes that everyone in the Johan Cruijff Arena will sing along with her classic from 1987 tonight. “I am among those five hundred people, together with Diggy Dex. Then we hope that the whole stadium will sing along. Of course that connects after all. And the games of Orange too.” After the performance, the group can also follow the Orange match in the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Alberti is honored that she has been asked for this special performance, she tells NH Radio. “It is a really great honor for me. We also have to look much more around us, at those who are having a hard time. We are going to help them, we have to help them!”
