Special: Fire brigade saves parrot with ladder truck

The parrot had been missing since last night. The owner fell around 11 pm on the Meunyckenplein in Koekelare and his bird had started flying…. A search turned up nothing. Until half past nine this morning. The parrot was spotted near the church in Koekelare.

Intervention with ladder truck

The team of the Koekelare Fire Brigade called up the ladder truck of the colleagues from Veurne to get to the bird. The parrot was eventually captured and is in good health.

Owner and animal were reunited again on the ground floor. All’s well that ends well.
