Early in the morning Jessica Heggers takes a walk around Buitenpost. In this natural sanctuary on the edge of Twello, she will be working in the coming months on the ‘Volksakker’, an extension of the Volkshuis in the center of Deventer. Together with the employees of the lunch cafe – who have a mental disability – she will grow sustainable vegetables, fruit and herbs in the vegetable garden.
