The recently deceased presenter, known from, among others, the Sinterklaasjournaal, collected hundreds of music plates in her life and visited thousands of concerts. The majority of her collection recently sold her family to record dealer Wilco de Bruin. “They are 700 to 800 records and the great thing is that you see that she really played them herself,” says Wilco.
Dieuwertje’s music taste
From Randy Newman to Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton: Wilco sees, leaving through her collection, a clear pattern. “She really had a broad taste. She loved big names and especially large groups.”
Yet there were also surprises, such as artist Frank Zappa. “I didn’t expect that at all with her. Zappa is quite absurd and experimental. But the family member told me he was even her favorite artist!”
