Special assistance team active in three additional police zones

As of today, police zones Midow, Riho and Polder can call on the special assistance team of zone Vlas. The team has already taken action 12 times in the new zones, but now a structural collaboration follows. The chiefs of police and mayors involved confirmed this this morning by signing a protocol agreement.

The Tares team stands for Tactical Response Team. 12 inspectors are available 24/7 for risky assignments. For example, they also intervened when an attack threatened during last year’s Miss Belgium election in De Panne.
