Sparta Prague are back on the Czech football throne after nine years. A 0-0 draw at FC Slovacko on Tuesday secured the side of former Denmark coach Brian Priske their 37th championship in club history.
Arch-rivals Slavia Prague are only three points behind with one matchday before the end of the championship round, but in the event of a tie, the better placement of the regular season counts. Sparta take part in the second qualifying round of the Champions League as champions.
