Spanish wines ripen on the bottom of the ocean: “The researchers always preferred the underwater wine”

In the Spanish municipality of Plentzia there is an underwater vineyard. There, different types of wines ripen at the bottom of the ocean. A project that entrepreneur Borja Saracho started in 2010. “It was very strange to see the color change a little every time,” Saracho says. Meanwhile, the vineyard has a capacity of 25,000 bottles.
