Marta García wins the third race of the weekend in Cheste and establishes herself as the leader of the new women’s single-seater series

Nerea Martí completes the success of the home riders and gets on the podium twice in second place

After winning two victories a week ago in the opening round of the championship F1 Academy at the Austrian Red Bull Ring, Marta García continues on a roll and is postulated as one of the firm contenders for the title in the new women’s series of single-seaters promoted by the FIA. This Sunday in Valencia, Martha has scored the victory in the third race of the weekend and consolidates in the category leader, with 96 points, ahead of Hamda Al Qubaisi (71) and Nerea Martí (56).

García, a Prema Racing driver, has been the great protagonist of the weekend both for his victory this Sunday and for his two great comebacks in the first two races of the weekend. On Saturday she took pole and after a penalty she moved up from the back of the grid to sixth in the first moto and fifth in the second.

Along with the Alicante, also Nerea Martí demanded attention at the Cheste circuit. The Valencian Campos Racing driver was on the podium twice: she was second, both in the first and in the third race, and she is already third in the general classification.
