The Spanish army freed about six hundred motorists who were snowed in on a highway in the north of the country on Friday evening. According to the Spanish newspaper El País, about four hundred cars were stuck on a 30 kilometer stretch of highway. This happened between the towns of Soria and Zaragoza.
