The former Prime Minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, has referred to the vote on the labor reform to remember that the ‘popular’ “are specialists in scoring own goals”, that “they also get on the scoreboard” and has cried out: “Spain won and the PP lost!”.
“Now they are out there crying on the corners,” he pointed out, while asking them “a bit of modesty” because “what they wanted was to win a vote from behind, with two turncoats”, he asserted during his speech at a campaign event in León, in which he supported the socialist candidate for the Presidency of Castilla y León, Luis Tudanca, together to the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
Zapatero, who has acknowledged that this week he has “discovered many things”, has highlighted among all of them “the joy for this labor reform” and has congratulated Sanchez for having “complied with the workers”.
“There are interesting weeks… we have discovered that if they are the PP and Vox, which are almost no longer distinguishable, those who vote with Bildu and the nationalists are very democratic, but if they vote with other political forces, attack against Spain: that is the cynicism of the right in this country”has reproached.
Along the same lines, he lamented how “little they care about Spain, employment or workers”, because, in his opinion, “itThey are only interested in patriotism so that they govern, but patriotism is shown in the opposition” and he has predicted that “in this legislature, as in so many others, the right will go down in history for not having put its shoulder to the wheel not once in the midst of a very serious pandemic.”
“There was poetic justice: the workers, social dialogue, employment, dignity of the most humble won; Spain won and the PP lost,” he stressed. “They are specialists in scoring their own goals and that is what is going to happen to them in Castilla y León”, he predicted, therefore, in his opinion, “the atmosphere is one wave in favor of change” and recalled that “when the PSOE is in shape it wins in Spain and in Castilla y León”.
