The Euro 2024 qualifying phase enters its final phase with the best teams looking for a place in the final round
Spain will play its third game of the qualifying phase this Friday against Georgia
the phase of Euro 2024 qualification has entered its final phase. The best teams from the old continent are looking for a place for the final round of the championship, which will be held next summer.
The raffle of the Euro 2024 qualifying phase was held on October 9, 2022. All the teams, with the exception of Germany as the host of the tournament, were pigeonholed into the ten groups, three of them with five members and the other seven with six, who they must overcome to get their ticket to the next round.
The matches began in March 2023, dates on which the first two days of the calendar were played. The qualifying phase will last until November of this same year, being organized as follows:
- Days 1 – 2: From March 23 to 27
- Days 3 – 4: From June 14 to 20
- Days 5 – 6: From September 7 to 12
- Day 7 – 8: From October 12 to 17
- Days 9 – 10: From November 16 to 21
During this selection break, play the matches corresponding to the fifth and sixth day, although some groups have played fewer matches due to the characteristics of their group with fewer members.
Spain, for its part, will play the third game of its group against Georgia this Friday (Friday, September 8 at 6:00 p.m.). The next match will be against Cyprus (Tuesday, September 12 at 8:45 p.m.), the last one until the next break in October.
