Southwest France rocked by earthquake with magnitude of 5.3 to 5.8: “It was felt well”

A large part of southwestern France was shaken by an earthquake on Friday evening. The epicenter was between the port city of La Rochelle and Niort inland. The quake had a magnitude of 5.3 to 5.8 on the Richter scale. Wim, who lives in the area, testifies to HLN: “It was a very strange feeling.”
