South Korea secures World Cup ticket for the tenth time in a row

South Korea has qualified for the World Cup for the tenth time in a row.

The selection of Portuguese coach Paulo Bento won 2-0 (0-0) against Syria in Dubai and can no longer be dislodged from the top two places in Asia Group A.

Former Freiburg player Chang-hoon Kwon scored in the 71st minute after Jin-su Kim (53′) scored the lead.

Iran qualified in Group A last week for the finals in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December. Third place, which entitles you to the playoffs, is currently held by the United Arab Emirates.
