The regime in Pyongyang had already warned on Thursday that the deployment of American aircraft carriers, bombers or submarines equipped with missiles to South Korea could be reasons for North Korea to use nuclear weapons.
A day later, the Ministry of Defense in Seoul said any use of nuclear weapons by North Korea would lead to an “immediate and decisive response” that would result in the “end” of leader Kim Jong-un’s regime.
On Wednesday, North Korea launched two ballistic missiles in response to the arrival of a nuclear-armed US submarine to South Korea.
