‘Sounds Like The Cure’: Noel Gallagher Shares ‘Pretty Boy’ Remix Preview

Noel Gallagher shared a teaser of the new Robert Smith remix of his song “Pretty Boy” on Tuesday (March 7th). The singer has already announced that the new remix will sound “exactly like The Cure”. The original version, featuring John Marr, was released in October 2022 and will be part of Gallagher’s upcoming High Flying Birds album COUNCIL SKIES – the album will be released on June 2nd. Gallagher shared a video of the remix excerpt on Instagram.

It is not yet clear when the full-length remix will be released. Earlier this year, Gallagher spoke about the production of the new track: “When writing ‘Pretty Boy’ it reminded me of the golden age of The Cure. And it was one of those crazy ideas you have in the middle of the night and I was like, ‘I wonder if Robert Smith would want to be a part of it.’” Gallagher later sent the song to Smith and was pleasantly surprised when it came to one Remix agreed.

Gallagher is appearing at several UK concerts this year. Dates in Germany are not yet known.
