Two years after the death of his wife, Carlo managed to grieve and return to life. To the point of ask Margherita Bosio (Alice Torriani), Adele’s best friend, to marry him. But as soon as he makes this decision, the arrival of a new woman shakes all certainties.
This is Nina Caruso (Chiara Mastalli), a messed up but generous scammer who passes herself off as a medium thanks to his great talent in imitating voices. During a fake séance, organized to deceive the countess Ortensia (Barbara Bouchet), however, something strange happens. Nina goes into a trance and utters a phrase that only Adele could have said to Carlo. Who begins to suspect that the death of his beloved wife did not occur due to a mysterious virus, but rather at the hands of someone.

Previews of the second episode
After starting to suspect that his wife died under mysterious circumstances, Carlo wants to shed light on what happened. And all this will cause him a lot of confusion. In fact, the man begins to feel a sort of attraction towards Nina, thanks to which he can communicate with his beloved wife and understand what really happened to her.
In the meantime, however, his relationship with Margherita continues normally and the woman’s family begins preparations for a party in the prestigious family villa. Annabella, Nina’s scammer friend, she senses that wealthy people will participate in the event, therefore easily defrauded, and Nina decides to sneak in but right during the party it does a bitter discovery.
In fact, the evening was organized for announce the imminent wedding between Carlo and Margherita. Faced with the truth, Nina can’t help but be disappointed by trying gods feelings, even if still latent, for the doctor. The girl then leaves the villa, promising never to see the doctor again. However, the man continues to find no evidence of his wife’s suspicious death he searches for Nina again to ask her about what happened years ago. Convinced that the young medium is the only person capable of helping him solve the mysteries surrounding Adele’s tragic death.

Chiara Mastalli, a welcome return
Roman actress born in 1984, Chiara Mastalli returned to the small screen after a few years of break, in which she dedicated herself to raising her children. After making his debut in 2003 with a small role in remember me by Gabriele Muccino, Chiara gets a first major role in Three meters above the skyfrom the bestseller by Federico Moccia. But real popularity came in 2006, thanks to the female co-starring role in Night before exams by Fausto Brizzi – who will also direct it the following year in the successful sequel Night before exams – Today.
Graduated in Marketing & Advertising at LUMSA in Rome, after her success at the cinema for Chiara Mastalli the doors of television fiction open. Where he gets prominent parts in many successful titles: Police District, A case of conscience, The high school students And Don Matteo. On his character in Soul mateChiara said in the press conference «Nina is a nuanced character. It wasn’t easy to interpret her because we had to manage not to fall into the speck but also because they chose me shortly before filming began. She’s a scammer but she doesn’t have a bad soul.
