A mysterious and original fiction
Directed by Francesco Miccichè, the drama presents itself as an interesting mix of genres: mystery, mystery and sentimental comedy. It is no coincidence that the chosen setting is the city of Turin, one of the most esoteric cities in Italy, and gives the story a suspended and mysterious atmosphere. Other fundamental locations were Lake Maggiore and some interiors in Rome.
As the director declared in the press conference, the choice of this mix of different genres is a rarity in contemporary serial productions. To then add that «For the composition of the cast we tried to follow the same direction. Alongside the solid protagonists Daniele Liotti and Chiara Mastalli, we paired high-level supporting actors who could interpret the different genres in a homogeneous way, and then we embellished the cast with actresses of the caliber of Stefania Rocca and Barbara Bouchet».
The two great actresses play truly new roles in their long career. In fact, Stefania Rocca, originally from Turin, plays the role of Madame Margot, a psychic who runs an esoteric consultancy shop in Turin. Extravagant and positive, she will manage to connect Nina and Carlo, revealing to them some mysteries linked to Adele’s past. Bouchet on the other hand is the funny Ortensia, a gambling and gullible woman who relies on Nina, believing her to be a true mediumto speak with the spirit of her husband and find out where the bearer bonds went.
