Mariela, how were the beginnings of your venture?
The company arises after several years of study, training and devotion to art, which seems magical, unreal to me, just taking a pencil created my ideal world.
After a long time I started giving classes at home with magazines and acrylics
Later, with the years, effort and dedication, the recognition came and that small illusion began to form in something drinkable, we started with the company.
I inaugurated my own art workshop teaching classes at a national level, to later also do it online at an international level.
What are the services you offer in the art workshop?
We provide in the workshop all the knowledge acquired, academic excellence, both practical and theoretical. I am fascinated by everything that has to do with teaching and the power of understanding.
In addition, I teach my courses to everyone, without barriers.
My profession gave me the opportunity to travel around the world and taking advantage of that opportunity I was able to dictate and take seminars to later transmit my knowledge to the rest of the students, this in turn generates being avant-garde in the subject of art and even sometimes a bit transgressive. .
Currently I give teachers, technical degrees and masters endorsed by the Grassi conservatory and my art workshop “Perceptions of the soul” is a workshop attached to it.
What is your projection for the medium term?
I’m not one to project much, like everything in my life, I let everything flow. The power of surprise gives me a plus that generates a broader vision, that’s where the projection begins.
Bearing in mind that in my profession if you’re talented you don’t have a ceiling, I don’t need to project, it just happens.
Of course I want to have more students, continue to give seminars and lectures. I love that life surprises me.
What are your differentials in the field?
Talent, of course, the mediocre does not exist in my dictionary of life. I have always tried to be the best in what I undertake, whatever it is, as the saying goes: “he who hits first, hits twice”. That is, being the first in something and having others copy it later, makes me know that I am different.
For 50 years now I have lived with free expression in each of my works, with all humility I say that at a professorial level I have a very complete vision, and at a human level I try to be as genuine as possible, since I consider that it is the gift more important along with being honest, human and transparent.
What does art mean to you?
Art has been a large part of my life. From the age of 9 it was my great dream that came true and for 2 years, after an illness that I had to go through, with great dignity I observed that art was in my veins more than ever and that it helped me to move that moment.
