Will you make the most of it to conquer a place in the nursery? It’s been a war for a place in a (good) childcare for a while, and it’s not getting any better. Once again, there are fewer places available in Flemish childcare – 1,553 to be precise. There has been a decline for the third year in a row, and last year was even greater than usual. Moreover, it is an excruciatingly long wait to look at inspection reports from a nursery or childminder. If an expectant mom and dad were already stressed about the arrival of their baby, it’s getting bigger by the day.
