Sotkamo one win away from the championship – Pesäkarhut tied the final series in women

Sotkamo’s Jymy is one victory away from the Finnish championship.

In the second final game, Jymy beat Vimpelin Veto 1–0 on their home field and took a 2–0 lead in the final match series.

Three wins are required for the championship. The third match of the final series will be played next Saturday in Vimpel.

Sotkamo won the championship last time in 2020.

On the women’s side, Pesäkarhut of Pori leveled the final series at 1–1 when they beat Manse PP 2–1 on their home field.

The third game of the women’s final series will be played in Tampere next Saturday and the fourth game in Pori next Sunday.

Like last season, Virkiä from Lapuan won the SM bronze. Virkia also won bronze last year. Seinäjoki’s Maila-Jussit finished fourth.
