Gordon is known for not mincing words, but now that his ex-fiancée Gavin Rozario has chatted up the Private, he’s all over the place. He has demanded a rectification.
It’s all very painful for Gordon: for the first time in his life, the whole country seemed to sympathize with him after a breakup. Would Gavin Rozario have used the generous TV millionaire hard to get rid of him? ghosting? That image suited Gordon, but we didn’t know Gavin’s story at the time.
Image in ravine
Gavin talked about half the Private last week and his story was so credible that public opinion has turned en masse. And not only that, because Gordon’s image is therefore deeper in the glitter abyss than ever before. The consequence? The whining jetsetter was in all states and immediately sent Gavin a furious message.
Private boss Evert Santegoeds already knew what was in that message last week, but then he kept his readers in suspense for a while. He merely indicated that that reaction was ‘low to the ground’. How low exactly? He put that in the latest issue of his infamous gossip magazine this week.
“Imbecile!”
Of course you immediately run to the nearest Primera for all the dirty dirt, but a tip of the veil? “I just read your interview in the newspaper. What an asshole you must be after everything we’ve been through,” Gordon says, among other things. “Talking about my behavior as if I were a child. What an imbecile you are.”
Was that it? No, Gordon also sent in an entire corrigendum that he demanded that Gavin finish socials would place. And following his staged marriage proposal, it once again becomes clear how much value Gordon attaches to how people think of him in the country.
Fool in love
It’s a nice wall of text: “I’d like to offer my sincerest apology to Gordon for ending our engagement after three weeks,” it reads, for example. “I threw myself into things like a fool in love, but never thought of the huge consequences that a big step would bring.”
“It was never my intention to hurt him in any way and my feelings towards him were genuine as anyone could have seen. I realized that breaking off the engagement had serious consequences for his career. I had a great time together and hopefully we will look back on it as an educational moment later.”
Credible
Yes, that would be nice and believable after you’ve just drained completely in the Private. “Gavin has of course refused to post that, especially after he has been scolded so much,” says Bart Ettekoven in Show news.
Bram Moszkowicz points out that Gordon must have known that Gavin would leak this. Is he that clumsy? “Or he just wants us to read this here.”
Guido den Aantractor: “I don’t think that’s a stupid idea.”
According to Bart, it won’t change anything. “You notice that a lot of people have sided with Gavin.”
Coke apps
Evert advises any remaining Gavin doubters to walk to the store for the latest Privé. “Gordon, of course, tried to cast doubt on his credibility,” he says in his podcast Strictly Private. “The very last doubt is now removed by apps that Privé is now publishing.”
According to Evert, those apps contradict that Gordon’s mood swings are caused by diabetes. “In those apps, Gordon just says it was coke. In it he simply says that he is a ‘downfall‘had as in’old days‘. In it he just admits it and even mentions the name of the person from whom he got that coke, so yes…”
