The Padellers, the padel court company of influencer of the year Bas Smit, among others, conjures up magic with a bag of private equity money from Quotation 500 member Ben Mandemakers converts a tennis hall in Groningen into padel cash cow . And that means that more indoor tennis courts will soon disappear, while there is already an acute shortage in the Netherlands. Why? Padel is commercially much more interesting than tennis.
