TV presenter Sonja Kailassaari, 42, is expecting her first child with her partner Aku Hirviniemi, 39. Sonja told the good news in her presentation Efter nio in the program.
– When you do a weekly program, at some point the body starts to change. It would have been strange if it hadn’t been commented on. It came out pretty perfectly and fit the theme of the show, which was performance. First you complete it for nine months and then once, Sonja commented to Anna magazine.
The child’s due date is in the summer, and Sonja will leave the Efter nio program in mid-June.
– The program continues at the end of August, then I will have a supervisor on my farm. I’ve been making dune for 22 years straight. I think now is a good time to take time out and enjoy, Sonja told Anna magazine.
Sonja talked about her unfulfilled dream in an interview with Iltalehti in March.
– I would like my own cinema! My grandparents used to run Helsinki’s Orion. When I go there, I always think about how my grandmother sold tickets and my grandfather ran the projector.
– I’ve learned that you should say your dreams out loud. Then they might also come true, Sonja thought.
