Sonja Bakker does not like how she has appeared in the media in recent days. She is not only angry at De Telegraaf, but also at Shownieuws. “They twist everything!” she barks.
For years Sonja Bakker was the authority on weight loss, but nowadays she is mainly known as the lady who writes cookbooks and also gets a few blows from her lover along the way. She made the front page of De Telegraaf this week with the revelation that she is permanently moving to Ibiza.
Angry Sonja
Sonja has hung up a whole crying story in the newspaper, in which she says that she is having such a hard time and that she can no longer walk normally in the Netherlands. The same evening she was finally killed by Patty Brard in Shownieuws. She thinks that Sonja should hang up her career.
A small media storm and then you already know what Sonja is going to do: crawl even deeper into the victim role. She says in an angry post on Instagram that she is furious with the media and that everything is being twisted.
‘Nothing to do!’
According to Sonja, she is simply caught because there is no news. “The media has had nothing to do for two days now, so let’s let Sonja shine again (meaning: bring it out, ed.). Telegraaf front page with all old news. I never even gave an interview!”
“Then Shownieuws will take it again, and twist old interviews together and make a whole new negative story out of it again and let people speak who want to benefit from it themselves…”, she says, pointing to her nemesis Bea Pols, who was the first to accuse Sonja of plagiarism.
Apologies
How does Sonja see her plagiarism herself? “Mistakes were made with some recipes ”, she says with a sense of understatement. “Everyone who has come to me, I made it up to them and apologized.”
And what about her emigration to Ibiza? “I have moved to Ibiza with Barry and Bram since December. I needed to rest and to work on myself. Barry and I have a great time together. I am indeed not in the Netherlands much anymore.”
