Son of Uwe: Colin Rösler changes from Lillestrøm SK to Mjällby AIF

Colin Rösler, son of ex-Fortuna coach Uwe Rösler, has found a new club after terminating his contract with Lillestrøm SK. Born in Berlin, he joins the Swedish first division club Mjällby AIF. When they finished ninth in the Allsvenskan season, the 22-year-old signed a contract until the end of 2025. Rösler made 21 appearances (one goal) for Lillestrøm in one year.

“We are very pleased to welcome Colin to Mjällby. He’s a player we’ve been following all autumn and it feels good that it’s now clear. Colin is a powerful central defender with good defensive perception and a good right foot in both short and long passes. He’s a central defender who can handle all three positions in our back three,” said sporting director Hasse Larsson.
