Once again there was a police operation in a Berlin outdoor pool because of an argument: the summer pool in Neukölln on Columbiadamm was cleared on Wednesday evening.

Several dozen police officers appeared at the pool around 7:00 p.m. At the same time, announcements could be heard: “The bathroom is being cleared. Please pack your things and go to the exit. The bathroom will be cleared for safety reasons.”

When asked, the police referred to the management of the swimming pool, which had the domiciliary rights. They ordered the closure.

Some young people did not behave on or at the slide, there was a fight. Security guards who support the police added: “It is cleared because of a fight on the slide.”

It took a while for the numerous bathers to leave the site. Police officers and security guards ran across the meadows and repeatedly asked visitors to leave the premises. Around 7.30pm the bathroom was empty and closed.

Only last Monday there was a police operation in the summer pool in Pankow. For the second time in two weeks, a dispute escalated and a brawl broke out, in which around 30 people are said to have been involved, according to the police.
