Sometimes it seems like something has to go wrong to feel good

I had come home at one o’clock that night, where I found the door on the deadbolt. After a moment of weary despair, I saw that the neighbours’ light was still burning. I rang their doorbell, and they (oh wonder) just opened. I was able to climb to our balcony through their balcony. Then I had to curl up around the dividing wall, but I decided to temporarily forget that I found this scary.

Moments later I was able to enter my house. Victory! I was the A-team on my own. Sometimes apparently something has to go wrong to feel good. Inside I threw my things (bag, jacket, toiletry bag) on the floor of the bathroom, because BA would too. Then I accidentally stepped on that toiletry bag, which turned on my electric toothbrush. Suddenly I had a buzzing, vibrating toiletry bag under my foot. I may have let out a small, high-pitched scream.
