Solid time for Nadine Visser during Diamond League in Rome

During her first Diamond League-appearance this season, Nadine Visser finished sixth. In the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, the 27-year-old Hoornse ran the 100-meter hurdles in 12.98 seconds. She clocks almost the same time as at the FBK Games.

For Visser, the Diamond League-game in Rome was her first of this season. During the Dutch Athletics Championships at the end of February, Visser suffered a tear in her hamstring and therefore had to miss the first Diamond League games.

Visser got off to a good start in the Italian capital and raced in the track of her competitor to 12.98 seconds. The victory in Rome went to Jasmine Camacho-Quinn in 12.37 seconds. Visser was three hundredths slower than last Monday at the FBK Games† Then the Noord-Hollandse ran to 12.95 seconds.

Visser will be back in action next Tuesday. Then she runs a competition in the Finnish Turku.

After the FBK Games, NH Sport spoke with Nadine Visser.
