Soldiers pass exercise in Germany and are ready for NATO deployment

The 45 Mechanized Infantry Battalion, which is part of the 43 Mechanized Brigade in Havelte, received its certificate after an exercise in Germany. The unit is now ‘combat-ready’ for NATO.

The soldiers have recently been training in eastern Germany. They trained there against an ‘equal opponent’. It was actually an exam for the brigade, which had to work together with other units during training. It was checked whether the military has the right level, so that they are ready to be deployed for NATO, anywhere in the world. So that’s the case.
