The soldier (27) was actually on sick leave – but performed as DJane “Anastasia Rose”, sold promotional items and produced twitch videos. Now the Bundeswehr had had enough!
The woman with the rank of senior sergeant worked as a nurse in the Bundeswehr hospital in Berlin, but had been on sick leave since the beginning of April 2021, as the Berlin public prosecutor announced on Thursday.
According to the indictment, this should not have prevented her from appearing as a DJ under the stage name “Anastasia Rose” without a secondary activity permit, selling merchandise such as perfume and clothing and regularly producing new music videos for the Internet platform twitch.tv.
Since July 20, 2021, she has been given ten express orders not to continue working in this secondary job. However, that would not have stopped them from appearing a total of 23 times between August 7, 2021 and June 8, 2022 – partly live, partly as a live stream appearance.
The Berlin public prosecutor’s office has now brought charges against the 27-year-old in 23 cases of insubordination at the Tiergarten district court.
