The police found soft drugs in the car that crashed last night on Zuidbargerstraat in Emmen. The driver ignored a police stop sign, after which a brief pursuit took place.
A police spokesperson explains that this was a regular check.
After the accident, the driver, a 25-year-old man from Emmen, was taken to hospital with injuries. The soft drugs were seized by the police.
