With every runway season, fashion’s love of denim seems to get stronger and stronger, and FW22 was no exception. Long considered an American classic, denim’s versatility has meant the material now has global appeal.
Fashion Snoops Vice President Melissa Moylan says, “Denim gave designers the opportunity to explore new washes and finishes. Some of the most notable were soft and acid washes. We also see different motifs such as patched or quilted effects,” Moylan continued, adding that these details underscore the persistence of the Y2K trend.
