France U21 international
Sofiane Diop is moving from AS Monaco to OGC Nice in Ligue 1. Both clubs confirmed this late Monday evening. The French U21 international joined the Monegasque team from Stade Rennes in 2018, for whom the attacker was directly involved in 26 goals in a total of 105 games.
The fee for Diop is reported to be 22 million euros – including bonus payments. Should these become due, he would be on the side of Nice Replace Kasper Dolberg (24) as the most expensive new signing in the club’s history, who was signed by Ajax Amsterdam in 2019 for 20.5 million euros.
