This is evident from the exact times of matchdays eight and nine, which the German Football League published on Thursday. The duel between the runners-up and the record champion will kick off at 6.30 p.m.
A day later there is a Rhenish derby between Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Köln.
Frankfurt and Union Berlin in the duel of European travelers
A week earlier, Gladbach played the top game at Werder Bremen on Saturday evening. The Champions League teams from Munich and Leverkusen will play the Friday game of matchday eight on September 30th.
On Saturday at 3.30 p.m. there will be another duel between the European Cup participants with Eintracht Frankfurt versus Union Berlin.
HSV against Kaiserslautern on Saturday evening
The tenth and eleventh matchdays of the 2nd Bundesliga were also scheduled. On September 30th, the current league leaders SC Paderborn and second-placed Darmstadt 98 will meet on Friday evening (6:30 p.m.).
Eight days later, Hamburger SV welcomes 1. FC Kaiserslautern to the top game in a duel between the founding members of the Bundesliga on Saturday evening (8:30 p.m.).
