Sobyanin warned about the increase in the incidence of coronavirus in Moscow by the end of the week twice

The omicron coronavirus strain dominates in Moscow and the region, as well as St. Petersburg, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, at a meeting of the presidium of the coordinating council under the government to combat COVID.

Against this background, the incidence rate is growing, he pointed out. “That week it [число заболевших] has doubled, and this week it will double again. Most likely, events will take place in such dynamics,” he said.

“How many weeks this growth will continue, practice will show. So far, European cities have been growing at this rate for at least a month,” the mayor added.
