Heavy snowfall in Turkey caused the postponement of sports activities.
Turkish Athletics Federation announced that the Under-20 Indoor Championships of Turkey, planned to be held at Istanbul Ataköy Athletics Hall on 29-30 January 2022, have been postponed to February 2-3 due to heavy snowfall and adverse winter conditions.
Turkish Orienteering Federation also announced that it was decided to hold the Ski Orienteering Turkey Championship on February 5-6 due to “weather conditions”.
