Snow in Southwest Drenthe: KNMI warns of slipperiness

The KNMI warns of slipperiness in the northeast of the Netherlands due to snowfall. A layer of snow fell tonight in Meppel and Hoogeveen, among others.

Locally, 1 to 3 centimeters of snow can remain. The KNMI warns that the snow can lead to slippery roads and that there is less visibility.

Tonight it can freeze to about 2 degrees. Temperatures are expected to rise again in the coming week and it will not dip below 0 degrees.
