The Berlin rapper Ufo361 currently seems to be the most popular rapper in Germany when it comes to fashion collaborations.
Ufuk Bayraktar, as the Berlin artist’s real name is, has just graced the cover of the German men’s fashion magazine GQ, and the next stylish collaboration is already at the start – a capsule between his own label ‘Stay high’ and Snipes.
The collection is inspired by French ‘youth culture’ and “urban suburban culture”, the Cologne streetwear retailer announced on Thursday. Sweaters, tracksuits, T-shirts and accessories have been created under the slogan “Never down when you stay high”.
“Snipes stands for street culture – this includes not only fashion but also hip hop and street art,” said René Dahl, Senior Head of Marketing at Snipes. “Like no other German rapper, Ufo361 stands for exactly these attributes. The collection symbolizes freedom and a young community at the same time.”
The collaboration has been available in the online shop and Snipes stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since March 11th. The pieces are priced between 24.99 euros for a peaked cap and 159.99 euros for a college jacket.
