The Cologne streetwear retailer Snipes has appointed Dennis Schröder as General Manager Europe.
Schröder will take up his new role on May 1st, Snipes announced on Thursday. He is supposed to support CEO Sven Voth. The retailer’s founder will focus more on overall strategic direction, global expansion and the wholesale business.
“Due to our constant growth and the high relevance of our wholesale business, now is exactly the right time to fill the position in order to be able to work even more strategically and future-oriented,” said Voth. “Dennis is the ideal person for this job. Through his work at Nike and Puma, he already knows many of our partners, is well known in the industry and brings a wealth of experience to the table.”
Until the end of February, Schröder was still active as CMO at 11teamsports, an online retailer for sporting goods based in Satteldorf in Baden-Württemberg. Further stations were the sporting goods manufacturers Nike and Puma.
In addition to Schröder and Voth, Snipes’ management team consists of CFO Tim Spickenbom and COO Peter Buse.
