‘Device can make the difference between life and death’

Tilburg – One in six Dutch people does not yet have a smoke detector in their home. That while it has been made mandatory by the government from 1 July 2022 to have at least one on every floor of a home. In addition, the detector does not work for about a third of the people who do have one because the battery is empty and has not been replaced.
