The software package received a lot of criticism from parents because of the constant flow of information, which also continued into the weekend. Smartschool is now intervening. Schools can now choose when to send a message. “It’s a good thing to give parents and students some peace of mind,” said pedagogue Pedro De Bruyckere in Het Nieuwsblad.
